I was just randomly following them around trying to talk to them (alternating V and B for local/global) but they couldnt hear me. Are you sure this wasnt a dream you had after playing?!? :Dįor my part - the closest thing so far (which was possibly just a coincidence) was after I was dead - one of my team mates was using the spirit box. I don't know how the AI could be smart enough to trick you into opening the lorry door thinking it was your friend. I dont know how you could be in the lorry with the door closed after your friend died without the mission ending. Is this true? Cos this sounds like total bull to me XD But if its mechanics from the later levels then i apologise and am suitably impressed by how deep this game can get! I've never had the ghost do anything when i'm outside the house. My friend was like, what's the matter with you, open the door to the car.

I had a major "WTF I thought you were dead moment", I opened the door, but my friend was nowhere to be seen. When his dead body hit the floor, and the ghost woman turned to look at me, I just noped out of there like a bat out of Hell!Īnd then. While I desperately mashed buttons to save him. ^ ^'Ī couple of minutes later, after we talked to the ghost with the spirit box out, the ghost walked down the stairs, and snapped my friend's neck. Then my real friend came down, and wondered what the heck I had been screaming about. Just disappearing half a meter from my face, with a menacingly ghostly whispering. I thought he was just pranking me, but then he walked up to me, and then. He flicked the lightswitch, and I was plunged into darkness! But he did not answer, he just looked at me.
I saw him come down the stairs, and called out to him, relieved to not be alone down there anymore. He was bringing the camera, as I had determined the ghost was primarily haunting the basement. My friend was on his way, from the car, while I was in the basement.
