Numerous playable characters with intertwined stories and decisions that impact the game’s outcome. Those familiar with previous titles from Quantic Dream will know what that means. But according to its official website, it’s an action-adventure game featuring a “multiple-character branching narrative”. Very few details have been shared about Eclipse so far. With that being said, what can we expect from their next project? What is Star Wars: Eclipse? While their previous games weren’t necessarily to everyone’s tastes, they were tremendous examples of how complex and engaging narratives can be presented in video games. Likewise, lovers of Quantic Dream’s previous work will surely be excited to see what the studio does next. And Eclipse should help scratch that itch.

It was revealed during last night’s The Game Awards 2021 show. The rumoured Star Wars game from Heavy Rain and Detroit: Become Human developer Quantic Dream is real.
